I publish different apps, and not every app works in exactly the same way. This page is the general privacy baseline for apps I publish under MSiccDev Software Development. If an app needs something more specific, I provide that on the store page, inside the app, or in a separate app-specific privacy policy.
What my apps may process
Depending on the app and the features you use, I may process:
- account or sign-in data if an app connects to a third-party service
- access tokens or similar credentials where a connected service requires them
- technical diagnostics and crash information to understand errors and improve reliability
- location data if a feature depends on it and you have granted permission through your device
- information you provide directly inside the app to use a feature
I try to keep data use limited to what the relevant feature actually needs.
Why I use that data
I use data only to the extent needed to:
- provide the core functionality of an app
- connect the app to a service you chose to use
- improve reliability, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs
- protect the app and related services against misuse
- comply with legal obligations where required
Authentication, diagnostics, and third-party services
Where possible, I prefer sign-in flows such as OAuth, so that you explicitly authorize access through the service you connect. Where a token is needed, I store it securely and use it in place of your password whenever possible.
Where I enable diagnostics or crash reporting, I may use Sentry. In that case, technical error information and basic device or app context may be sent to that service so I can understand and fix problems. The exact data depends on the app and how diagnostics are configured.
If an app uses another third-party service, that service may process data needed for that feature. I describe that more specifically on the relevant store page, inside the app, or in an app-specific privacy notice where needed.
Sharing
I only share personal data with third parties where it is necessary to provide the feature you use, operate the app, diagnose issues, comply with the law, or respond to a request you made through the app.
That can include:
- platform operators such as Apple or Google
- service providers you explicitly connect to
- diagnostics providers such as Sentry where enabled
- authorities or other parties where I am legally required to do so
Security and retention
I use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
I keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant feature, support request, diagnostics process, or legal obligation. Some data may remain on your own device or in the third-party services you chose to connect.

If a specific app handles data differently from this general policy, the app-specific information takes precedence.
